Background information

The Forest Adventure is an air-based course built through trees which consists of ladders, bridges, nets, swings, trapezes and giant zip lines!

Safety is guaranteed at Forest Adventure with equipments like harnesses, helmets and carabinas attached to safety lines. Participants get to swing from tree to tree and whisk across the Bedok Reservoir (also known as the flying fox), enjoying maximum tree top adventure. Be prepared to get a genuine adrenaline rush from the 4 giant zip lines with the longest at 200m.

On the Kids Course, young adventurers can take part as long as they are at least 1.1m, whereas the Grand Course is opened to anyone above 1.4m (if below 18yrs, an adult’s company is required to go on the Grand Course). It takes approximately 2hrs to complete the Grand Course and 30 – 50min to complete the Kids course.

My Experience

This is the most exciting tree top adventure I ever had. The obstacle courses are not as easy as they look like. I expected the course to be a breeze. It is not easy to balance as it seemed. Although Forest Adventure has very safe equipments to provide adventurers safety, certain risks cannot be avoided. Therefore, the trainers make sure that all adventurers are informed and practices the safety procedures that are needed to adopt. Any adventurer who fails to perform the safety procedures during the trial run will not be allowed to participate - that is how dangerous it is.

The scenery of the bedok reservoir on the tree is exceptional - the view of the entire reservoir, jogging pavement, trees and the tall buildings behind the reservoir. The view would be even nicer when it is around 4pm, when you get to catch the scene of the sun setting over the entire reservoir with the water glistening from the sun's reflection. This is not any ordinary tree top adventure where you can experience such an exhilarating scenery.

The tree top adventure also has areas which required me to crawl which makes the course even more challenging. After finishing part of the obstacle course, you would have the opportunity to hop on the flying fox. It is one of the most thrilling moments of the forest adventure - the feeling of whizzing above the reservoir. The flying fox is equivalent to a Tarzan swing. After completing the course, I felt an exceptional sense of accomplishment.
